Standardized photographs are taken with the Visia-CR® system. The images are analyzed with Image-Pro®Plus imaging software.
The volume of the eyelashes is measured via an image segmentation algorithm. Meanwhile, a random representative sample of eyelashes is selected and the length of each sampled eyelash is measured from root to tip, thus providing a mean length of the eyelashes.
Obtained results (in pixels or mm) are associated with representative photographs.
